Limited Warranty....... Ya, sure it is.

at work today i happend to stumble across an owners manual for a 16 bottle wine cooler that we sell in the store , i read the back limited warranty policy for no apparent reason and got a great laugh , it was so funny so i thought id bring it to you all to read , this is not a lie, i will quote EXACTLY as it is written , it goes as follows

"LIMITED WARRANTY

The limited warranty does not cover: Damage due to such things as accident, misuse, abuse, mishandling,neglect, acts of god, fires, earthquakes, floods, high winds, government, war, riot or labor troubles, strikes, lockouts, delay of carrier, unauthorized repair or any other cause beyond the control of the seller wither similar or dissimilar to the foregoing.
Purchaser understands and acknowledges that the goods sold here are wine refrigerators, which house wine. Purchaser assumes all risk of using these units, including risk of spoilage, humidity variations, temperature variations, leaks, fires, water damage, mold, mildew, dryness, and similar perils that may occur."

ok.......
maybe its just me but that seems a bit odd.so i leave you guys with 2 thoughts,
1) remember your wine cooler is under warranty until it breaks ... (wow)
2) make sure you protect your wine cooler from those high winds and riots , it would be a pitty to lose your wine cooler due to lack of preparation for the inevitable.
